Explorers move out of our inventory almost faster than we can get them in. That’s why we’re stoked today to announce one of our latest arrivals to our Seattle lot—this incredible 2015 XLT model. Ford’s brain trust really worked their tails off on this one, because it’s a vehicle that’s won heavy and hearty praise for its design and engineering.
Popping the hood of the 2015 Explorer XLT, you’re greeted by the reassuring sight of a 3.5L V6 engine. We say “reassuring” because when you know what this motor is capable of statistically, you’ll have no qualms about on-road performance. The 290 horses and 255-lb.-ft. of torque on offer are thrilling and impressive, ensuring a fun drive wherever you may roam.
The cabin is well outfitted, too. The front leather seats are heated to keep you nice and toasty. Four 12-volt outlets are dotted around the interior, ensuring that all passengers can keep their smart devices juiced up. There’s a duo of LCD monitors in place on the dash that serves to keep you abreast of vehicle details. Also, the 50-50 split-bench third row can be folded to open up cargo space. You’ll have as much as 43.8 cubic feet to work with when it’s down!
