No matter our age, we all feel a bit of nostalgia when we see a Volkswagen Beetle. The first model was released over seven decades ago in 1945 and today it’s better than ever. Consider a pre-owned 2013 model for your next car.
A review by The Car Connection says that the 2013 Beetle, “is both its own car and at the same time, tied solidly to its past.” Indeed, the exterior still has the distinct VW Bug contours and aesthetics, but it also comes with a sleek 21st-century silhouette that’s guaranteed to impress.
While the interior has been fitted with all the modern comforts we’ve come to expect, it still has a vintage element that all Beetle enthusiasts will adore. It doesn't hurt to have spacious front seating with ample foot and leg room.
The 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine cranks out 170-horsepower, which is more than enough zip to get you around town. It has a respectable fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The 2013 Bug also does well on road trips and the already spacious 15.4 cubic feet of trunk space, nearly doubles to 29.9 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down.
