Personalization is key with the brand new Ford GT. In recognition of customers' growing demand to customize their vehicles, Ford Performance recently announced the release of a unique order kit that will be available for approved applicants. The kit in question will give drivers the ability to build their supercar from the ground up, selecting elements such as wheel options, paint colors, racing stripes and more.

Surpassing the traditional, standard online build site, the Ford GT design team created miniaturized pieces for each GT kit that incorporate the actual elements incorporated throughout the vehicles' interiors; they even included a latch that matches the one found on the Ford GT race car. Drivers can also get a taste of the different interior themes, thanks to swatches that pull from the high-quality leather and Alcantara used as embellishments in the Ford GT's cabin. Take a glimpse in the video below:

The GT's exteriors are not neglected either. The order kits also highlight eight color samples with removable and interchangeable stripes, which puts a spotlight on the numerous options accessible to buyers. Rounding out the kit's exterior offerings are scaled-down replica wheels with caliper color variations.

“The Ford GT ordering kit is a critical piece in the purchase process,” Henry Ford III, the global marketing manager of Ford Performance, said. “This high-quality kit is a hands-on tool for Ford GT customers to enhance their ordering experience. Authentic colors, finishes and materials will provide them an intimate, tactile way to discern the multitude of choices to configure their ideal supercar.”
