Many people were disappointed when the Ford Mustang V6 was discontinued for the 2018 model year, even though the two engine choices - the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, and the 5.0 L Coyote V8 - are excellent options. Customers will be happy to hear that, according to Ford Authority, the company has filed a vehicle identification number with the NHTSA for 2020 which has three motor configurations in any mode (excluding the Shelby). The exact hp hasn’t been released for the alternate, but sources report that a higher-powered variant is coming!
In the meantime, why not take advantage of a tremendous pre-owned opportunity with the 2015 Mustang V6? Under the hood rests the boisterous 3.7 L V6 that we all love! It cranks out a whopping 300 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque and can accelerate from zero to 60 mpg in just 5.9 seconds. It's equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. What’s more, this beauty gets an exceptional EPA estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway for a combined total of 26!
