Have you heard the news? The 2020 Ford Explorer Hybrid has the quietest cabin ever. The brand has introduced a dual-wall dashboard to pair with the acoustic glass and ‘Active Noise Control’ to help insulate the interior to reduce or eliminate any unwanted sounds. Additionally, the windshield is designed to combat engine, road, and wind racket. Let's look at what else this beauty has to offer!
The SUV has a host of cool technologies such as Ford Co-Pilot360 which has Traffic Sensing to avoid jams and driver-aid innovations. The latter includes automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection which alerts you if there’s potential for a collision and will use the maximum deceleration capacity. It also gives you a rear backup camera to make reversing a cinch and auto high beam lighting that temporarily decreases your headlights when it notes oncoming vehicles. Lastly, under the hood rests a 3.3-liter V-6 that cranks out an impressive 318 hp and 336 lb.-ft. of torque. It's combined with a 10-speed modular hybrid transmission which is composed of 90 percent of the same parts as normal transmissions.
