Quicksilver speeds no longer solely define the Mustang. Instead Ford is fusing this pony with a series of showroom-ready upgrades - transforming its cabin from functional to fashionable. Prepare for the new (and very much improved) GT500!

According to Torque News, the 2020 Mustang GT500 will bring a sleek style to Auburn. Slide into the cabin and discover supple leather trims (with Alcantara and suede micro-blends padding the door sills, headliners, and dashboard). Sport-inspired Recaro seats will yield custom contrast stitching; while carbon fiber accents will inject a bold design across the central media console and instrument panels. A flat-bottomed steering wheel is anticipated, lending a rally sensibility to each mile; and paddle shifters will flank the mounted cruise controls.

To further delight pony-fans, the new GT500 will also boast an enhanced digital suite - with bold LCD letters and back-lit SYNC 3 buttons creating a dynamic visual. An eight-inch high-definition touchscreen will anchor the system, delivering a distinctly modern touch.

Don’t fret, though, Auburn: the 2020 Mustang will still prove a powerhouse on the track, yielding up to 800 HP. It will be both a show-pony and a circuit star.
