Functionality and reliability are king, but aesthetic isn't something to disregard when it comes to buying a new or used car. At Sound Ford in Seattle, Washington, we offer a variety of vehicles that are crafted for purpose and style. The 2018 Ford Explorer, which arrives on lots later this year, is a prime example.
With the all-new Explorer, drivers can select between five different series that feature a trio of engines, including a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder that boasts 280 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 310 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 rpm. Looking for an SUV more along the lines of the Explorer Sport or Platinum? They're decked out with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 that highlights new quad exhaust tips. The engine puts out 365 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 350 lb.-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Power also manifests itself in the options for personalization. The 2018 Explorer comes with four new exterior color choices – Burgundy Velvet Tinted Clearcoat, Cinnamon Glaze, Platinum Dune Tricoat and Blue Metallic. The SUV comes with five variants of wheel choices, too.
