Looking for a fleet vehicle that is truly worth its weight in gold (or any currency)? Take your pick from seven of Ford Motor Company's cars, trucks and vans. The spectacular seven recently won Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America awards for 2017, which acknowledge vehicles that offer fleet customers ownership at the lowest, most optimal costs.

The seven winners that don the Blue Oval logo are veterans to the award, having taken them home in years past. They include:

  • Ford Taurus SE: large sedan winner (seven times)
  • Ford F-150 XL: full-size half-ton pickup winner (five times)
  • Ford F-250 Super Duty XL: full-size three-quarter-ton pickup winner (two times)
  • Ford Transit Connect XLT: small commercial passenger van winner (five times)
  • Ford Transit 150 XL low-roof van: full-size half-ton passenger van winner (three times)

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America awards are handed out based on eight primary criteria: depreciation, fuel, insurance, financing, repairs, fees and taxes, opportunity costs and maintenance. Their winning titles mean that the aforementioned Ford vehicles boast the lowest lifecycle expenditures across 28 ownership and mileage scenarios. 2017 Ford Transit vans for sale seattle washingtonFord's newly expanded Advanced Fuel Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program encompasses the development and installation of various hybrid powertrains, according to a recent release. The powertrains will benefit Ford trucks and vans, in particular. The program was revealed at The Work Truck Show recently to the approval of fleet and commercial customers, whose electrified and hydraulic hybrid work trucks often necessitate certain conditions.

As a leader in electrification, the Blue Oval also recently announced its $4.5 billion investment in 13 electrified vehicles within the next five years - including a high-volume autonomous vehicle, a Transit Custom plug-in hybrid, a hybrid F-150 and more.

“Ford supports electrification for a variety of vehicle types,” Richard Cupka Jr., Ford's sustainability and QVM program manager, said in the same release. “The eQVM program extends that support to the vocational truck industry where customers need relatively small numbers of specialized vehicles – there is no one-size-fits-all work truck.”

With the new eQVM program, three developers are taking the spotlight: XL Hybrids, Motiv Power Systems and Lightning Hybrids. All three companies provide electrification or hydraulic solutions for a variety of Ford vehicles that appeal to commercial and fleet customers, such as the F-150, Transit and E-Series vans and chassis, and F-53/F-59 stripped chassis.

2017 Ford TransitFord Motor Company's new Commercial Vehicle Center program, which was recently rolled out publicly, promises commercial and fleet customers across the country with service, sales and financing of the highest caliber at the dealership level. The program's network takes the place of Ford's Business Preferred Network, and encompasses over 650 of Ford's trained dealers who are dedicated to giving commercial customers all that they need in regard to vehicles, service support and financing options.

“Nearly 30 years ago, Ford established its first program to improve the purchase experience for our commercial vehicle customers,” John Ruppert, Ford's general manager of commercial vehicle sales and marketing, said. “Now we are introducing the next chapter in our commercial vehicle story."

Customers are sure to enjoy the Commercial Vehicle Center's accessibility, given that its dealer service departments are open for 55 hours per week at a minimum. All-new programs for stocking serve to improve parts availability, while the newly introduced Commercial Advantage Rewards loyalty program give customers the opportunity to accrue factory benefits. Both elements enhance the overall customer experience.

With the widest range of commercial vehicles on the market, spanning from Transit Connect compact vans to F-150 pickups and beyond, the Commercial Vehicle Center truly offers customers the greatest selection of Ford commercial vehicles, incentives and more.
