They also publicly released a memorandum of understanding to work together on autonomous cars, connected mobility services, and EVs. The collaboration has the potential to cut costs from production and boost pre-tax profit margins. However, it seems that they still need to iron out a few details so we’ll have to wait and see the outcome!

Customers will be happy to hear that, according to Ford Authority, the company has filed a vehicle identification number with the NHTSA for 2020 which has three motor configurations in any mode (excluding the Shelby). The exact hp hasn’t been released for the alternate, but sources report that a higher-powered variant is coming!

Ford is using its advanced technology to solve everyday problems, no matter how small: that’s why the company has taken a gadget from their automobiles and developed a ‘smart bed.’ The brand has implemented its lane departure device to prevent individuals from always moving around, rolling over, or pushing their significant other off the mattress (you know who you are!). How does it work? It utilizes a conveyor belt to gently nudge someone back to their side if they stray. Watch the following video to learn more:
If you want a vehicle that is savvy, then you should check out the 2018 Ford EcoSport SE. Additionally, it’s a practical SUV that still gives owners that much-desired oomph. The vehicle won't be on sale until the second half of this year and only in Europe, but rumor has it that the company is considering releasing it in the United States but hasn’t decided yet. Are you a dog lover? If the answer is a resounding yes, then we have some excellent news for you: Ford is working on making driving with our furry friends as safe as possible. The company did this in response to a survey they commissioned which showed that a whopping 32 percent of pet owners don't secure their pets in the car - even though it’s a legal requirement in many countries. Ford engineer, Rene Berns, and his three-year-old Australian Shepherd conducted tests to make sure the Focus wagon was suitable by ensuring that the biggest crate could fit inside of the rear hatch through the maximization of the total volume. Berns did this by compressing the foam layer of the roof liner, altering the length of the hinge screws, and reshaping the opening.
Unfortunately, this model is only available in Europe, but if you’re looking for a good car for you and your animal companion then you should check out the 2017 Ford Focus Titanium. It’s perfect because it has 23.8 cubic feet of cargo space when the car is full, but you can also tumble down the seats to access up to 44.8 ft³ of room!

Lastly, under the hood rests a 3.3-liter V-6 that cranks out an impressive 318 hp and 336 lb.-ft. of torque. It's combined with a 10-speed modular hybrid transmission which is composed of 90 percent of the same parts as normal transmissions.
